Never Had a Massage? What Can You Expect at Your Appointment?

If you have never been for a massage before you might be a bit concerned about what the treatment entails so here’s an insight into the appointment you can expect.

First of all you will always be treated as a patient and we will make you feel very comfortable. We want you to be relaxed and enjoy your massage or treatment experience right from the start. Our services are not intended as lip-service to the important role we play as therapists in people’s lives. We treat everyone as an individual and understand the importance of listening to you and your problems so that we can form considered opinions and implement treatment plans and solutions to your issues.

When you make an appointment you will be treated courteously and your case is treated with complete confidence.

Our aim is to make your visit as luxurious and comfortable as possible in keeping with the whole concept that should be inherent to relaxation and massage.

Upon entering the treatment area you will undergo a consultation with the massage therapist who can assess your needs and offer you their opinion and suggest treatments and therapies so that you will make the most of your visit. You will then be left alone to remove your clothing and as directed and where appropriate, arrange yourself comfortably on the massage table, face down ready for the therapist to continue.

Once you have signalled that you are ready, the therapist will return and begin the massage treatment session. Obviously for facial massages, removal of clothing will not be required.

Once the massage has been completed, the therapist will once again leave the room and you can take a few moments to compose yourself and recover from the deeply relaxed state you are in, to rise and dress again. The therapist may request that you turn over during your massage but your body will remain discreetly covered to protect your dignity at all times.
